Have you noticed a something weird that sticks with you, just enough to make you pause and think, “Huh… what’s going on here?”
I’ve learned that there are moments in life when weird isn’t just weird – it’s an invitation. And paying attention to these moments can help you strengthen your intuition and psychic perception.
Weird Happens
A bit of strangeness has become normal for me.
Sure, I love those magical “OMG, that just happened!” synchronicities, but sometimes the weird stuff shows up in subtler ways, like it’s tapping you on the shoulder, asking you to notice. For example:
- A sudden emotional shift that isn’t connected to anything obvious (like an emotional ghost just haunted you).
- An unfamiliar word or unusual topic popping up multiple times in a short period.
- A palpable shift in the energy of a space.
Weird stuff happens all the time. Mostly though, I just file it away as “life.” 🤷🏻♀️ But sometimes, something grabs my attention and holds it. That’s the kind of weird worth exploring, even if it’s just to consciously notice it.
Not that you have to do anything about it, but noting it can be a mini-attunement for your intuition and psychic senses.
And sometimes, these weird invitations are gateways to new understandings of your intuitive abilities.
Two Weird Examples
1. The “Mundane” Weird
There was a grocery store near where we used to live, and every time I walked down one particular aisle, I’d get hit with a huge wave of grief. I’d grab what I needed and skedaddle out before I burst into tears. As soon as I left the aisle, the feeling vanished. It happened several times and so we started calling it the “aisle of woe.”
One day, I decided to tune into the energy while standing there. I didn’t need to know the “why,” but I could sense an eddy of emotional energy in the space – like a pocket of grocery grief.
I called in the spirits of the land and the building, plus my Spirit Team, and asked them to clear what could be cleared, improve the flow, and infuse calm. The shift was immediate.
This taught me that we’re constantly moving through each other’s energy fields, contributing to the collective. So when a sudden emotional shift happens, it’s worth noticing and asking for release if it isn’t yours.
Note: Sometimes these external shifts connect with inner pockets of your own grief – your personal “clean-up on aisle five.” That kind of emotional tending requires different tools, but you can always call on your Spirit Team for support.
Another way this weird energy interference can show up:
You feel excited about a new idea, share it with someone, and suddenly feel deflated, foggy, or unsure. It’s not that the idea isn’t aligned, and maybe they didn’t say anything negative, but their energy landed on you anyway.
When something is new and not yet formed, it can be easily influenced by others energies even when they aren’t spoken.
As my teacher once said, only share your new things with people who have “believing eyes.” This doesn’t mean ones that give you blind agreement or blow rainbows up your ass; but those that are curious and have thoughtful questions that let your idea breathe without judgment.
Sometimes the most supportive thing is to keep the creative spark between you and your Spirit Team until the idea is steady enough not to be influenced by outside energy.
2. The “Weird” Weird
About 10 years ago, I was channeling and felt a new frequency enter the space. It was different from my usual Spirit Team. It was distinct, buzzy, and had a strong presence that immediately caught my attention.
I asked “who is it?” and a metallic taste appeared in my mouth. These were beings I hadn’t known existed, bringing “technical construct” information. Soon after, clients started asking questions about these constructs. Whenever that metallic taste returned, I knew these beings were present.
Because I paid attention to that initial weirdness, I had context. My channel expanded. Now, when new beings show up in sessions, I’m ready to receive and transmit what’s needed.
This applies to anyone: when weird grabs your attention, engage your curiosity. It may reveal something new about your intuition or psychic senses.
Not All Weird Needs Meaning
We don’t have to make sense of everything. But when something holds your attention and keeps coming back, consider it an invitation to explore. Be curious. You might discover something you didn’t know before, or something preparing you for a new way of working with your intuition.
More Weird on YouTube
In my YouTube video “Pay Attention to the Weird”, I share both of the examples above in a slightly different way, including more about the Sirian-Star-Beings that showed up in the channel. While you’re there, check out a few of my other weekly videos too!
