Not knowing is sometimes the best knowing.

Peace rose

Knowing the outcome is a sure way to not do the work necessary to actually make something happen.

Here’s what I mean.

We get to where we need to go when we don’t have it all figured out. (But we do need to participate.) Our intuition guides us to our next steps in the direction we’re invited (“need“) to go, but for most creations and connections, we actually have to participate to make them happen.

Here’s an example of when this concept became more clear to me: When I was newly doing psychic tarot readings for clients, one person asked a question about traveling and I gave them the guidance that came through the channel.

Two years later, they came back to me and said, “You said that I’d be traveling in two years, but that hasn’t happened yet.” My channel response that time was, “What have you been doing to prepare and get yourself ready to travel since then? Travel is definitely available, but you can’t just sit in your house and expect it to happen.”

It hit them that they had done nothing but wait for it because they thought it was a “sure thing”. (The guidance from the channel also came as an aha of greater perspective for me, too.)

They immediately took action, got extra side jobs, and asked for support to travel. Within a few months, they had enough funds, serendipitous connections, and had arranged their life to start on a long travel journey.

It’s like that.

When you feel like something is calling you that you just KNOW is part of your journey, you actually have to participate and take the steps to get there.

And sometimes, you may think and deeply KNOW something is “true” for you, and you lean into it only to find that it was an invitation to connect you to something else that you wouldn’t have seen or thought of. It was a way to get you in the position to be able to take the next step.

It could’ve been just as likely that in the process of the client getting ready for travel, that they could’ve met a new love through a side job. Or they could’ve connected to some other opportunity in addition to, or instead of traveling, that wouldn’t have happened otherwise.

On a need-to-know basis.

During my first Saturn return I finally ended a long-term dysfunctional relationship. I then had a lot of time on my hands, so I looked for a place close to my home where I could take a yoga class. I found a women’s center nearby and looked at what else they offered, and I signed up for their metaphysics, tarot, and astrology courses, too.

Being in the medical field at the time, I absolutely had no idea that 20 years later I would be a professional intuitive guide and energy psychic. Had I known this was going to be where I was heading, I wouldn’t have been paying attention to my medical career as much. I wouldn’t have strived so hard to create the opportunity that allowed me to retire early, and be available to do this work.

So now, even if I may feel like I KNOW where I’m going or the outcome, I still look at it as just an invitation to move me in a direction and it may change as I do or I learn more.

The experiences and what we learn along the way may sometimes only be perceived as necessary when we connect them in hindsight. (I’ve previously written about soul plans and astrological timing if you’re interested in another perspective on how sometimes we know and sometimes we don’t know. https://angelarider.com/astrology-transits-or-pre-life-soul-plan/)

My Higher Self KNOWS.

And a lot of my “not knowing” got me here.

I use how I feel and curiosity to inform me of what I want to move away from and what I want to move towards. And then I ask for guidance and support to follow the next steps.

And to be clear, I don’t always follow the invitations or guidance. Or at least not right away. I sometimes resist, delay, lag, wallow, deny, procrastinate, distract, and just say no and squander opportunities. That’s part of my learning journey and the process I sometimes go through in order to take the next step.

I’m assuming that when I follow my the guidance and invitations (at least the ones I’m curious about) , they’re leading me somewhere, and that I’m on a “need to know” basis.

And I trust that it’s part of what’s next, even it’s just me sorting myself out. 🤷🏻‍♀️✔️

You’re Guided. Period.

Follow your curiosity and explore what feels like it calls to you, especially when you feel like you KNOW life is inviting you to change and grow. You don’t have to figure everything out, just take the next best step for you – especially if it gives you some peace and / or excites you.

  • What feels like the most supportive thing you can allow for yourself right now? Do that. Allow that. Be that.
  • Check-in with your inner-guidance and call on your Spirit Team to help you – even in dream time.
  • Guidance can be really subtle. Trust that when you ask, you ARE supported.
  • Look for the obvious signs of guidance trying to get your attention.

I’m here for you too.

Here are some helpful options for Clarity Sessions to receive energy work and supportive guidance from me and your Spirit Team.

Thank you for being here. I’m rooting for you every step of the way.

Much love,
Angela 💗✨🌸
